Website measurement preferences

Our optional first-party measurement records public page requests, blog views, site searches, cart and checkout steps (products, item counts and cart value, payment method and outcome) and arrival sources to improve this website. A random first-party cookie (pce-visit) identifies a visit and expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. This is not a named reading history; we do not store account IDs, IP addresses, full referring URLs or payment details in these analytics.

Our retention target is 90 days for raw analytics and 12 calendar months for daily aggregate counts without visit identifiers. Scheduled aggregation and deletion may be delayed by outages or a processing backlog. Search terms are limited and obvious personal information is redacted, but please do not enter personal information into site search.

We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for this first-party measurement. Exclusion applies to future collection in this browser. The exclusion cookie lasts one year; clearing cookies resets it. These preferences do not control separate Google Analytics, if enabled, or cookies necessary for shopping and accounts.
